It was a course in photojournalism at the University of Massachusetts Amherst that sparked my first real interest in photography. I put my lessons from that course into practice while studying in Galway, Ireland. I had the opportunity to travel to many new countries where I photographed nearly anything and everything — architecture, street life, food, iconic landmarks. Little did I know I was developing a passion for visual storytelling in the process.

In the last six years, what was once an interest and hobby has become so much more. I haven’t strayed too far from that college student wandering around Europe — I still enjoy capturing a variety of subjects. I have mastered how to capture tender moments and big occasions through my wedding and engagement photography. As a multimedia reporter, I photographed breaking news, politicians, protests, parades, concerts, sports and more. Whether a journalist, content creator, freelancer or traveler, I have always placed stories at the heart of what I do. I look forward to the opportunity to help tell your story. — Kristin
